Here we have another high pressure testing system that will provide a world-renowned robotics company which produces advanced underwater sensors and robotics for military and commercial use, a system for simulating harsh deep ocean conditions.
With the ongoing coronavirus situation, our experienced engineers delivered a much safer remote factory acceptance test with our customer.
A detailed test plan and procedure ensures the performance of the pressure system meets the requirements of our customer and the design specification. It’s essential to be able to demonstrate that the system and all its equipment is operating safely and correctly.
The 750 bar (10,878 psi), 900 litre hyperbaric test chamber is equipped with our KWik-Lok closure which has been designed with an integral safety interlock system and provides the operator with a simple and quick opening and closing functionality. Attachment points on the underside of the closure allow the DUT to be safely and securely fastened.
The automated control system allows for the test chamber to be accurately filled, purged and drained as well as pressure control, along with pre-defined programmable functions and data logging for test reporting.
In the New Year, our engineers will install and commission the high pressure testing system and supporting equipment, with full operator training including pressure system walkthrough, including equipment description and functionality, along with all the essential pressure system safety procedures, practical activities and demonstrations.
