[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our engineers have just recently completed another successful factory acceptance test, performed remotely for a customer who provides mission-critical offshore marine technology globally.
The 750 bar (10,878 psi), 188 litre volume high pressure hyperbaric test chamber is equipped with our popular manual chock closure, providing the operator with an easy-to-use quick-access closure which has penetrations for connection to the components under test.
The operator using the touch screen HMI panel, controls the automated pressure control system to be able to operate the functions of the fluid control module which accurately fills, purges and then after testing the device under test, partially drains the pressure testing vessel all at specific fluid flow rates.
The HMI interfaces with the pre-programmed PLC that controls the sequence of operations and allows for the writing, editing, saving, loading and execution of customer-specific test profiles, which includes specific pressurisation and depressurisation at controlled ramp rates, also pressurised dwell periods. A cycle is a test profile that has been carried out from start to finish.
The system includes data logging for rigorous test regime reporting.
