690 bar hyperbaric pressure testing chamber

Our test engineers in our KW Pressure Testing facility are busy working through a range of high pressure hydrostatic and hyperbaric tests for a renowned manufacturer and supplier of high-quality valves which perform in some of the most severe underwater conditions throughout the world.

The hydrostatic test process is carried out safely and securely in our Test Cell 1, then the hyperbaric testing is carried out within our Test Cell 3, 700 bar (10,000 psi) test chamber, equivalent of up to 6,900 metres below sea level. The test chamber allows us to carry out electrical testing as well as internal pressure testing whilst applying an external hyperbaric test pressure at the same time.

Both the hydrostatic and hyperbaric tests are carried out to customer specific and relevant industry standards, subjecting the valves to a series of internal hydrostatic tests as well as combined Internal and external pressure tests, whilst carrying out functional tests on the valves.

A full documentation pack including test certificate, chart data and test engineers report will be provided, verifying that the subsea valves meet all the relevant acceptance criteria specified in the test procedure.

Our facility and dedicated team of experienced pressure testing engineers are available to help and ensure equipment is compliant with customer and relevant industry standards.
