Our engineers were in Brazil recently installing and commissioning a fully automated high pressure hyperbaric pressure testing system produced for a renowned centre for integrated manufacturing and technology.
Its laboratories and services support industries with technological and applied research in the areas of manufacturing processes, metrology and product development, along with automotive and industrial automation.
Our in-house engineers designed and manufactured this 690 bar, 565 litre volume pressure testing system with our innovative KWik-Lok closure, developed for a much safer and easier way for operators to access the high pressure test chamber.
This deep-sea simulation test system will subject a range of subsea pressure housings and hoses to specific pressurisation and depressurisation rates and dwell periods and variable temperatures, along with developing new equipment for use on the sea bed. Accurately testing and monitoring with all the data captured and recorded.
In due course, the pressure system will be re-located to its own purpose-built, part below-level test bay, very similar to ones we’ve produced previously for world-leading subsea equipment manufacturers.
