A series of quick-acting male hot stabs and female receptacle components used for subsea fluid transfer systems were subjected to PR2 qualification in our dedicated KW Pressure Testing facility.
Required for API17H stab qualification, specific cycles of environmental conditions are applied to the components, including specified temperatures including heating, ambient and chilling, whilst holding, increasing and reducing pressures for a set period of time with a water and glycol test media.
Our experienced test engineers conduct PR2 test criteria in our fully-enclosed environmental test chamber whilst closely monitoring and recording test data. Our facility is equipped with a range of enclosed test cells offering hyperbaric and hydrostatic testing, gas and submerged gas testing.
Our team of test engineers are available to assist with qualification testing components, compliant with customer and relevant industry standards, along with helping new product development testing.
