We recently had a sizable quantity of hastelloy sample laboratory sphere bombs subjected to burst testing to failure point within our KW Pressure Testing facility.
The testing was successfully carried out for a world-leading designer, developer and manufacturer of innovative scientific instruments and software designed for key processes in chemistry and biology applications.
Our test engineers continually applied increased hydrostatic pressure at a controlled rate as per customer requirements, performed in one of our safely enclosed test cells until the component burst.
Our team of experienced engineers and facilities are available to assist with qualification testing, compliant with customer and relevant industry standards, along with helping with new product development testing.
A full documentation pack for each component included a test certificate confirming burst pressure, a test engineer’s report, a test chart confirming failure pressure and a video showing the mode and point of failure provided for our customer.
