Hyperbaric pressure test chamber with Zurich Engineering inspection

Great having Zurich Engineering, KW’s notified body on our site, experienced engineers carrying out essential inspections of a 530 bar (7,687 psi) hyperbaric pressure testing chamber.

The quick-access manual chock closure test chamber forms part of a pressure testing system designed to interface with an existing gas booster skid system designed and manufactured previously. The test chamber and access platform will incorporate a vessel tilting system which will allow the chamber to be tilted up to 45° from vertical in a single direction.

The pressure system is currently in production for a new innovative oilfield technology provider who are developing a transformative well plugging and abandonment technology.

The test system is designed for complex high pressure simulation for their next generation decommissioning technology and will replicate a full scale oil and gas wellbore environment, enabling prototype testing in various temperatures and inclinations as well as at higher pressures.

The pressure chamber was successfully hydro tested by our experienced test engineers in our KW Pressure Testing facility which is available for qualification, type approval and factory acceptance testing, along with helping with new product development testing.
